Our Business

In the new “flat” world, students need to be able to compete with their peers around the world. Both economically and for national security reasons, our nation needs to build a corps of second-language speakers. QLF is the only entity in the area offering a selection of languages and formats for such instruction over a muli-county area. The curriculum of QLF was developed to provide maximum learning with familiar games and fun activities that include cultural awareness. This year saw the inauguration of our Chinese program at Carrolltowne Elementary. In addition, we applied for and received our first ever grant funding. The Delaplaine Foundation of Frederick awarded us $2500 to cover expenses for teacher training and travel. Please join QLF and The Delaplaine Foundation in supporting our mission. QLF's mission is to educate the public about the importance of and to promote and offer multi-lingual and multi-culitural educational programs to students ages 3 and up. 

QLF also provides in-house teacher training.
