Quality Language Foundation

QLF has been working to strengthen appreciation of language and culture since 2004. QLF also provides a thorough instructor program to select individuals entering the education market.

In the new “flat” world, students need to be able to compete with their peers around the world. Both economically and for national security reasons, our nation needs to build a corps of second-language speakers. QLF is the only entity in the area offering a selection of languages and formats for such instruction over a muli-county area.

The curriculum of QLF was developed to provide maximum learning with familiar games and fun activities that include cultural awareness. This year saw the inauguration of our Chinese program at Carrolltowne Elementary. In addition, we applied for and received our first ever grant funding.

The Delaplaine Foundation of Frederick awarded us $2500 to cover expenses for teacher training and travel. Please join QLF and The Delaplaine Foundation in supporting our mission. Join the QLF Booster Club. For donations of $35 or more QLF will send you our special mulit-lingual t-shirt.
